Non-traditional Art
for Thoughtful Spaces

minimal and unexpected pieces for all

Hey! Ellen here with a little update and studio news:

Ellen Catlin, my (self titled, lol) art practice, will officially be re-emerging in 2024 (for real this time). It’s been a big 2 years with lots of growth, creative exploration and (literal) movement. I’ll re-formalize the space eventually but in the meantime, I want things to be current, vulnerable and communicative because honestly, that’s what I have the capacity for right now. So tag along for the ride if you’re curious! It will be fun, it will be creative, and likely a bit messy. If you want some more long-form catch-ups and studio going-ons, you can get on the mailing list via the sign-up form below!

And as far as what to expect, in this very next chapter, I’m feeling really drawn to more loose, inky works on paper — rough references back to the plant pieces of yore. I’ve been privately working on some early pieces in the background over here and they’ve been described as a spookier and laid back take on some of my earlier motifs. Officially in my Wednesday Addams era.

And if you’re here for the flags? Stick around, they’re coming back too.

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for sticking around.

xx,

Ellen
